Information about the data controller, the collection, purpose, legal basis and retention period of personal data
This privacy policy contains all the information about the processing of personal data that ALTHENA carries out in respect of the user's data. As a demonstration of its commitment to data protection legislation, ALTHENA makes the information relating to our privacy policy permanently available to the user on this website.

Depending on the use that the user makes of this website, ALTHENA will need to process personal data, which, in general, shall be the following:
- Identifying data (for example, name, surname, language, contact details, etc.).
- Connection, location and browsing data (in the event of interacting with us from a mobile device, for example).
- Commercial information (for example, if the user subscribes to our newsletter).
ALTHENA reminds the user that some of the personal data requested in order to grant access to any of the functionalities or services of this website shall be mandatory, since they are essential in order to provide the service, grant access to the functionality in question, or manage the reason for your contact and process it at an administrative level.

In the event that the data provided by the user are the contact details of individual entrepreneurs and self-employed professionals, the legal basis for the processing is legitimate interest, as stipulated in Article 19 of Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and the guarantee of digital rights, in relation to Article 6(1)(f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 27 April 2016. |
| QUALITY SURVEYS | ALTHENA has a legitimate interest in conducting quality surveys of users, in order to analyse the user's satisfaction with this website, the quality of customer care or the products and/or services contracted. |
The retention period of the personal data shall depend on the purposes for which they have been collected:

The user is informed that ALTHENA shall retain the personal data, duly blocked, for such time as civil, commercial, administrative, criminal or tax liabilities may arise, in compliance with the legislation in force at any given time and until the limitation period thereof has elapsed. Once these periods have passed, the personal data shall be erased.
ALTHENA informs the user that, in order to fulfil the purposes described above, it is necessary for the user's personal data to be provided to companies linked to ALTHENA, as well as to companies that provide us with support in the services we offer, in their capacity as data processors, such as:
- Technology service providers
- Providers of services relating to customer care
- Providers of services relating to ALTHENA's administration
- Providers and collaborators of services relating to marketing and advertising
Likewise, the user is informed that personal data may be disclosed to Public Authorities where required by the legislation in force.
It is noted that ALTHENA engages the management of some of the functions necessary for the provision of the service with data processors located outside the EU. In such cases, we inform you that the data are transferred while maintaining the security of the data processed, since appropriate tools are used for the international transfer of data, such as standard contractual clauses or any other appropriate legal measure which, in any event, guarantee an adequate level of protection of personal data.
Users' rights
Users who have provided personal data for ALTHENA to process shall have the following rights:

| RIGHT OF PORTABILITY | The user shall have the right to receive from ALTHENA the personal data concerning them in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and to transmit them to another controller where the processing is based on consent or on a contract and is carried out by automated means. |
| RIGHT OF OBJECTION | The user has the right to object to ALTHENA processing the personal data concerning them where such data are subject to processing based on the public or legitimate interest. In such a case, ALTHENA shall cease to process the data, save on compelling legitimate grounds or for the establishment or defence of possible claims. |
| RIGHT TO LODGE A COMPLAINT | The user has the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) if they consider that the rights set out above in this privacy policy are being infringed or if they consider that the processing of personal data concerning them infringes Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 27 April 2016 and Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and the guarantee of digital rights. |
The user or their representative, whether legal or voluntary, upon proving their identity, as well as the relevant power of representation, may exercise the rights described above by sending a written communication to the email address privacidad@somosalthena.com.
Data Protection Officer
ALTHENA has appointed a Data Protection Officer through whom the user may raise complaints, claims and suggestions in relation to the processing of their personal data.
In the same way, the user is informed that they may raise the exercise of their rights before the Data Protection Officer through the email address privacidad@somosalthena.com, following the instructions set out in the previous point.

ALTHENA is present on the main social networks: Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and Linkedin.
The user expressly agrees to be subject to the conditions and terms which, in matters of privacy, are laid down by the various social networks or platforms where ALTHENA is present, empowering it to use the means that those same networks allow in order to inform users about the various activities and services that it carries out.
Minors
Minors under 14 years of age may not use the services available on this website without the prior authorisation of their parents, guardians or legal representatives, who shall be solely responsible for all acts carried out through this website by the minors in their care, including the completion of the forms with the personal data of said minors and the ticking, where applicable, of the boxes that accompany them.
In this regard, and to the extent that ALTHENA does not have the capacity to control whether or not users are minors, it shall be the parents, guardians or legal representatives who enable the necessary mechanisms to prevent minors from accessing this website and/or providing personal data without their supervision, ALTHENA accepting no liability whatsoever in this respect.

This Privacy Policy may be updated at any time on the basis of the needs of the website itself and future legislative changes in matters of privacy, ALTHENA reserving this right exclusively.
In the event that such modification is made, ALTHENA shall inform the user of the changes in question if they are significant for your privacy, so that the changes introduced may be reviewed, in order to assess objection to the processing of personal data or unsubscribing from any service or functionality.
